Here's a little background on the couple. They both decided to join JDate (A Jewish dating site) on the same day last spring - April 25, 2010. Kyle logged on and found Shira's profile and realized that they had so much in common. Kyle said, "I struck gold when I stumbled across the profile for a beautiful South African Woman. Knowing that I couldn't pass up this amazing opportunity to meet someone that shared so much of the same background and upbringing, I decided I just had to send her an instant message."
10 days later they met in person and less than seven months after they, they were engaged and had booked their wedding date, May 22, 2011, at the Wadsworth Mansion! Shira told us in one of our meetings about how she just felt like she was home when she first met Kyle. They talked about how lucky they were to be marrying their best friend. Now that is true love!
Deborah and I (Kristy) become close to Shira and Klye through out the five months that they planned their wedding. We often joked about how it seemed like they had been planning their wedding with us for years! We were honored to both be present at Shira and Kyle's wedding. It was a truly magical day. Below are some of our favorite photos provided by dave donato of Modern Artistry.

The prep:
Shira looked gorgeous
The men gather for the groom's Tisch.
The women escort the bride to the Bedeken:
Shira's family gather to congratulate her, her mother and Kyle's mother:
The men escort Kyle to Shira while singing and cheering him on:
I love this shot as Shira sees Kyle entering:

Kyle's parents escort him to the Chuppah:
Right before Shira and her parents walked her down the aisle, Deborah whispered to her dad that there was a storm developing to the West and we probably only had 30 minutes until it was over us. The crazy thing is that the rain never came through Middletown that day. It wasn't until the end of the night after the vendors had packed up and the Mansion was closing that the rain started. It was like something was watching over them!
I love the emotion in the next two shots -
Shira and her dad catch each other's gaze
and Kyle as he waits for his bride:
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs!
Shira and Kyle had a travel theme for their save the dates, invitations and globe center pieces.
Party time!
And some bonus non-professional photos:

And Deborah and Shira in the photo booth!
Congratulations again, Shira and Kyle! Thank you for sharing your special day with us. We hope you come back and visit us soon!
